I enjoy taking photographs of beautiful landscapes and cities around Europe and the world. In my opinion it’s crucial to take your time while being out in nature to take a picture to get the best result possible. The best pictures usually aren’t made by pointing and shooting but by finding the perfect spot and composition at a place and waiting for the right moment to trigger the shutter. I am always trying to take less but better pictures.

Born and raised in the Black Forest of Germany as the son of a photographer I learned a lot about photography. I started doing landscape photography on my own while I was studying computer science in the City of Bonn in 2015.

My equipment includes a Sony Alpha 7R full frame camera with the Sony Vario-Tessar 16-35mm F4.0, the Sony 35mm F2.8 and the Sony 90mm F2.8 Macro lenses. I usually also carry my tripod and several polarizing and neutral-density filters with me.
