Tongariro National Park

Tongariro National Park

Tongariro National Park was founded in 1887 and was New Zealands first national park. With its three active volcanoes, Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro, several bright green lakes, sulfur steam and smoke it offers an otherworldly experience, that you can hardly find anywhere else.
