Tile Grid Transition with Davinci Resolve Fusion

This is a transition inspired by the opening sequence of the Jack Ryan TV series. The project includes two parts:

• a Fusion Composition working as an Adjustment Layer to add a Grid overlay with highlighted intersections as well as brightness-adjusting tiles within that grid
• a custom Fusion Transition that transitions between two clips in a tile-like way and also optionally highlights the tiles during the transition, which can be useful if the Adjustment Layer is not being used.

You can inspect the nodes of the Transition by highlighting it and clicking on the Fusion icon next to the “Effect - Cross Dissolve” Title in the Inspector.
